Seasons Celebrates Remarkable Residents® is a long-standing Signature Program celebrating the contributions and successes of the seniors who call Seasons Retirement Communities home. This yearly contest invites family, friends, and staff to nominate a Seasons resident who has overcome obstacles to reach their goals and is an exemplary community member demonstrated through their talents, volunteerism, and work, both past and present.
This program allows residents to feel heard and valued. It encourages reflection on earlier experiences and shows team members something unique and personal about the residents they provide exceptional care and customer service to daily. To commemorate the program’s 10th anniversary in 2023, Seasons Celebrates Remarkable Residents® now also includes a $20,000 donation on behalf of Seasons divided between the three finalists to a Seasons-approved charity of their choice.
Despite their challenges and hardships, most residents express being content with their decisions and look back on their lives without many regrets. Seasons asked each applicant, “If you could go back in time and speak to your younger self, what would you say?” Hoping to inspire and encourage others, Seasons is revealing responses from its 2024 Seasons Celebrates Remarkable Residents® contest:
