$10,000 Donation Presented to Karen’s Place, Highlighting Seasons Retirement Communities’ Commitment to Give Back to the Communities in Which They Operate and Residents Call Home

LONDON, ON – June 20, 2024 – Seasons Retirement Communities is pleased to share the success of its recent invitation-only event at its newest location, Seasons London Retirement Community, which was held earlier this week. The event offered prospective residents and their loved ones a chance to explore the state-of-the-art facility and experience Seasons’ dedication to providing an exceptional lifestyle focused on comfort, convenience, and independence. Seasons London is set to welcome its first resident in July 2024.

“At Seasons London, we strive to foster a sense of comfort and care among our residents and extend that same compassion to the wider community. This event truly embodied our company vision to Connect, Care, Change®,” said Danielle Stevenson, Regional VP, Resident & Guest Services, at Seasons Retirement Communities. “Supporting Karen’s Place and its mission is a natural extension of our values at Seasons London. We are dedicated to making a positive difference and look forward to the continued success of our charitable initiatives.”

The event showcased Seasons’ commitment to community support, particularly through their partnership with Karen’s Place, a transitional home dedicated to supporting women over 50 who are experiencing homelessness. Seasons London welcomed Executive Director Mona Wuytenburg and volunteer Jackie Arts from Karen’s Place to highlight Seasons’ dedication to giving back to the communities they serve. In addition to the $10,000 donation and cheque presentation, emphasizing the spirit of generosity, Seasons London is collecting essential items to donate to Karen’s Place until June 30, 2024.

“We are incredibly grateful for Seasons London’s dedication and generous donation,” shared Mona. “Their support, coupled with the collection drive, will make a significant difference in the lives of the women we serve. Partnerships like this are vital to our mission of providing safe and supportive housing to those in need.”

Seasons London offers 147 independent supportive living suites featuring a mix of bright, spacious studio, one and two-bedroom suites. Additionally, the community features amenities such as a fully equipped fitness room, an indoor walking track, a spacious theatre room, a micro-market for convenient grab-and-go meals and treats, a parking garage, in-suite laundry and kitchenettes with induction cooktops, and private balconies in selected suites.
