COVID-19 Update May 20, 2021: Seasons High River

May 20, 2021

COVID-19-Blog

Hello everyone,

I want to share with you that we have one COVID-19 positive team member. As a result, Communicable Disease Control (CDC) has declared Seasons High River in a facility-wide outbreak, impacting Lochleigh Cottage only.

While having no symptomatic staff or residents at this time, we will be isolating all residents in Lochleigh Cottage until we identify close contact. Alberta Health Services (AHS) has advised that all residents and staff in Lochleigh will receive prevalence testing today and May 24. If we have no other positive cases, we should be out of the outbreak in 14 days.

The health and safety of our staff and residents remain our greatest priority. We are working closely with AHS and CDC to manage this situation and will be transparent with staff, residents and families as this situation progresses.

Thank you for the trust you have placed in Seasons Retirement Communities. We will continue to make decisions with our staff and residents’ health and safety in mind.

Sincerely,

LeighAnne Voll
Chief Operating Officer,
Seasons Retirement Communities
