COVID-19 Update Jan 11, 2021: Seasons Wetaskiwin Outbreak Declared Over

January 11, 2021

Hello everyone,

This is to confirm that Communicable Disease Control (CDC) declared the outbreak at Seasons Wetaskiwin to be over.

Thank you to our dedicated team members for your commitment to our residents. I know this was a challenging time and I appreciate how you handled this situation swiftly with skill and grace under pressure. Residents and families, we thank you for your cooperation and support throughout the outbreak.

While we are thankful that the outbreak is over, our work fighting COVID-19 is not. The provincial government still requires that we limit our contacts to those in our immediate household only. We must follow all directives, including a limit to essential visitors only and residents remaining onsite with the exception of medically necessary appointments. Staff, residents and families I implore you, please maintain your vigilance. We just got out of outbreak, we do not want to experience another one.
